What is Tino Kadewere’s Net Worth?

Tino Kadewere has a net worth of $6 million. His wealth is derived almost entirely from his career as a professional footballer, built on club salaries and transfer fees accumulated while playing in Europe’s top leagues.

Kadewere’s financial standing grew significantly during his time in France. After emerging as the top scorer in Ligue 2 with Le Havre, where he was the league’s highest-paid player with an annual salary of €720,000, he secured a high-profile transfer.

In January 2020, top-tier club Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon) paid a €12 million transfer fee to sign him, a deal that included a potential €2 million in add-ons. This move to one of France’s biggest clubs came with a substantial salary increase, with reports indicating his earnings at Lyon reached approximately €1 million annually.

His subsequent contracts, including a loan and eventual permanent move to FC Nantes and his 2025 transfer to Aris in Greece, have continued to contribute to his net worth.

Early Life

Philana Tinotenda “Tino” Kadewere was born in Highfield, a suburb of Harare, Zimbabwe. He attended Prince Edward School, where he began to formally develop his football skills. He played for his high school’s team before joining the youth setup of Harare City, which marked his first step into the professional ranks.

Career

Tino Kadewere began his senior career with Harare City in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League in 2014. His talent was immediately apparent, and in 2015, he made the move to Europe to join the Swedish club Djurgårdens IF. He initially joined on loan before the move was made permanent, and he helped the team win the Svenska Cupen (Swedish Cup) during the 2017–18 season.

His prolific form in Sweden led to a $2.5 million transfer to the French Ligue 2 side Le Havre in July 2018. This is where his career truly took off. During the 2019–20 season, Kadewere dominated the league, finishing as the Ligue 2 top goalscorer.

This success attracted significant attention, and in January 2020, he was signed by Ligue 1 powerhouse Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon). He was loaned back to Le Havre for the remainder of the season before joining the Lyon squad. Kadewere had a successful start at Lyon but later moved to RCD Mallorca in Spain on loan for the 2022–2023 season.

In January 2024, he returned to France, joining FC Nantes on a loan deal that became permanent in May 2024. In July 2025, Kadewere completed a transfer to the Greek Super League club Aris.

Internationally, Kadewere has been a regular member of the Zimbabwe national team (the “Warriors”), having represented his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
