Career
Nick Heidfeld made his Formula 1 debut in 2000 with the Prost team. The following year, he moved to Sauber, where he began to establish his reputation as a fast and exceptionally consistent driver. He spent three seasons with Sauber before a brief stint with the Jordan team in 2004.
His career took a significant step forward in 2005 when he joined the Williams F1 team, securing his first pole position and multiple podium finishes.
